With the agreement of the four Ministers of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, the slogan of "Four Countries " One Destination" is aimed at promoting the four countries as a single tourism destination in the region.
Public"Private partnerships also get a mention to assist in development, especially in the fields of infrastructure investment, improvement of quality tourism products and services, tourism marketing and promotion for sustainability of tourism development in each country.

International Tourism Festival Thang Long - Ha Noi 2010 ( ITF - 2010)

The International Tourism Festival Thang Long-Hanoi 2010 with the topic “Thang Long-Hanoi, thousand years of accumulation” was officially opened at night of October 02 at the Water Music Stage, Bao Son Paradise tourism area (Km 8, Thang Long avenue, Hanoi).

The International Tourism Festival Thang Long-Hanoi 2010 lies in the chains of activities of culture, sports and tourism to commemorate 1000 years old Thang Long-Hanoi held by the cooperation of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the People’s Committee of Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong confirmed, this is one of the important events to open for the chains of official events which will be taken place within 10 days of the great anniversary, the International Tourism Festival Thang Long-Hanoi 2010 will contribute to enhance to develop tourism potential of the whole country to be stronger.

The opening ceremony of the International Tourism Festival Thang Long-Hanoi 2010 was taken place gloriously and attractively with the special art performances directed by the musician An Thuyen which the key point is the dancing orchestra of 200 lotus with the performance of water music and fireworks in 15 minutes.

The International Tourism Festival Thang Long-Hanoi 2010 has the participation of over 400 exhibition stalls of culture and tourism locally and globally, attracts over 40 international tourism organizations, in which having UNWTO: PATA, travel agents at the national level: Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Egypt, Brazil, etc.

International Travel Expo 2009 - ITE 2009

The 5th International Travel Expo (Ho Chi Minh City) showcases Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos in “Three Countries One Destination” concept- The Mekong Trio: Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos brim with some of Asia’s most authentic and exciting tourism potential.

The 5th International Travel Expo was held in Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC). ITE HCMC provided an excellent platform for both international and local participants to showcase a diverse range of tourism products and services from all three countries.

The theme of the year’s ITE HCMC is “Gap go in another world” means “to meet in another world”. At the 3rd ITE HCMC in 2007, tourism ministers of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos signed a joint declaration to accelerate mutual tourism cooperation via multi-pronged action plans to promote the three countries in an integrated tourism offering: traversing the potential of multiple World Heritage Sites present in all three countries. The cooperation builds upon the three nations’ shared yet diverse cultural and scenic features to pave the way for sustainable tourism development of the region.

The unique “Three Countries One Destination” concept (3CODe) had seen much enthusiastic response and support and it is in turn, carefully managed and organised by four bodies. They are the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), the Ho Chi Minh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DCST), the Vietnam Trade Fair & Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD) and IIR Exhibitions Pte Ltd (IIR). ITE HCMC was supported by the Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and co-supported by the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia and Laos National Tourism. With more than 150 international buyers and 300 sellers, both local and international, the ITE HCMC offered an effective mix of participating portfolios with attendant regulars coming from Australia, the United States of America, England, Germany, Russia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

ASEAN Travel Fair 2009 - ATF 09

The Travel Fair (Travex 2009) was taken place in January 10-12 at the Vietnam Fair and Exhibition Center. It was an important segment of the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2009 (ATF 2009).

The fair included 400-500 standard booths of national tourism organizations, travel companies, tour operators, hotels, airlines, tourism-related associations and more.

The organizers said that Travex would be a place where service providers, tour agents, travel companies and tour purchasers could meet and make business contacts. To attract tourists from major markets, tour buyers from North America, Europe, Northeast Asia and Australia had been invited to attend the fair.

Hoangviet Travel.,JSC was the only tour operator , together with the other two members of VITA, TRAVELIVE Magazine and Vietnet, officially authorised to be Co – Exhibitors in the VITA’s booth (Booth C28) throughout TRAVEX 2009.
