The grounds are gorgeous, with lots of flowering trees and wild birds. Rooms are clean, with all the amenities, although perhaps a little musty from age and proximity to the lake.

For $140 you can stay in a suite that has its own meeting room -- perfect if a socialist head of state should happen to drop by.
