Vientiane Stopover Tour

Day 1 : Arrival - Vientiane

Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel for check in. A full day sightseeing tour of Vientiane, an ancient and largest city. Visit religious museums of Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple with more than 8000 Buddha statues ; Wat Ho Prakeo, the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statue or Pra Keo; That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos; Patouxay (Arch de Triumph), the land mark of Vientiane, built recently in commemoration of those who died during the wars in the past. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2 : Vientiane – Nam Ngum lake (B)

Breakfast at hotel, take an excursion by car on the road No10 to Nam Ngum Lake (90 km), with hundreds of small islands. En route, stop to visit Lao typical villages to see rural life, including a cottage-salt factory at Ban Bor village. Arrive Nam Ngum Lake by noon. After lunch, take one – hour boat ride for relaxing and panoramic view around small islands. 
Return to Vientiane with stopover to visit a hand weaving bamboo-baskets at Ban Phone and also to see how Lao traditional rice-whisky to be traditionally distilled, that you can have a taste and take a way. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 3 : Vientiane – Departure (B)

After breakfast, being at leisure until transfer to Wattay airport or the Friendship Bridge for departure.
