Laos - Vietnam - Cambodia ( 16 days/ 15 nights tours)
Day 01: Vientiane arrival Arrive at Wattay International Airport. You will meet our guide and transfer to hotel for checking in. In the afternoon you will visit Wat Sisaket - the oldest temple, still standing in Vientiane. Wat Ho Prakeo was once the home of the revered Emerald Buddha, now the museum and the That Luang Stupa, reputed to hold a sacred relic of the Lord Buddha, Morning Market and Pratuxai (Victory Gate) from which views of the surrounding city can be had.
Day 02: Vientiane - Luang Prabang (B) You will have breakfast at the hotel then transfer to airport for morning flight to Luang Prabang. Meet guide at Luang Prabang airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Then Luang Prabang city tour: visit Wat Xieng Thong - the most impressive temple in town, Wat Sene, Wat Mai, Wat Visoun (The Water Melon Stupak) and lately afternoon, climb up to Phousi Hill, with its revered shrine, to view the sunset over the Mekong and mountains beyond. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 03: Luang Prabang (B) Early morning, you will have a chance to see long lines of barefoot monk in procession through the streets of Luang Prabang. Afterwards, you travel up to the Mekong by motor boat to visit the Pak Ou Caves - a mystical pilgrimage site above the river. Over the past five centuries, kings, princes, merchants, and peasants have come to the caves to worship, leaving behind more than 3,000 statues of the Buddha. Back to the town at noon. Afternoon, travel by car (30 KM) to visit to Kuang Sy falls, visit villages en route. Return to town, visit Santi Chedi Stupak and Ban Phanom village, hill tribe H’Mong village on the way back to Luang Prabang.
Day 04: Luang Prabang - Vientiane – Vietnam (B) Breakfast at hotel. visit to the old Royal Palace National Museum which was once home to the monarchy of old Laos. Transfer to airport for flight to Vientiane then take fly to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi. Meeting and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 05: Hanoi - Ha Long (B) Morning city tour around: Visit Temple of literature, fine art museum, Cyclo tour visit Hanoi old quarter. Afternoon, take bus to Halong. Arr Halong city. Check in hotel. Overnight in Halong.
Day 06: Hanoi - Ha Long – Hue (B/D) 8h00 we take boat trip to admire the beauty of Halong bay. It's high time to leave the shore and visit the UNESCO world heritage site and enjoy seafood lunch. After lunch, we climb hundreds of steps to visit two of the most beautiful grottoes in Halong bay (Heavenly grotto and Wooden Stake grotto). We continue to the small bay for swimming or we take bamboo boats to visit three more small caves where the French people made the very famous film "Indochina" in the year 1940s. We go around the bay to visit thousands of islets with different shapes before leaving for Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi. Dinner with special food (Cha Ca La Vong) and enjoy one show if Water Puppet show (a typical art in the north Vietnam). 11h00PM on train to Quang Binh. Overnight on train.
Day 07: Phong Nha – Hue (B) 7h00 Arr Quang Binh. Pick up and transfer Phong Nha caves (the world heritage). By small boat up to Son river to visit Phong Nha caves with a lot of very beautiful natural works made by stalactite and stalagmite. Afternoon, drive to Hue. Check in hotel. Visit to the Imperial Palace and Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue (B) Morning, Boat ride on Perfume river visit to Thien mu pagoda and Minh Mang tomb. Afternoon, visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh tomb. Evening enjoy Ca Hue on dragon boat on Perfume river. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B) Breakfast. Overland to Danang with stopover at Haivan pass where tourists could enjoy the panorama of land, mountain and sky. Visit to the Marble Mountain, China Beach. Afternoon: Visit to Hoi An ancient town remain from 17th century (Faifo). Overnight in Hoian.
Day 10: Hoi An - My Son (B) Depart for My Son (75 km from Danang) with 3 km trekking from the road of the valley where My Son Holy Land was constructed by Kinh Bhadravarman 1 of the Cham kingdom in the 4th century. Here Gods of Hinduism in Cham pa kingdom was worshiped. Originally, there are about 70 towers, now there remain to be only 29 towers, square and build of red without mortar, typical of the architectural art of the Cham people. Overnight in Danang.
Day 11: Da Nang – Saigon (B) Take fly to Saigon. Arrive Saigon and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, city tour around: visit Thien Hau pagoda, Giac Lam pagoda - shopping and visiting at Ben Thanh Market and China town. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 12: Saigon - Chau Doc - Phnom Penh (B) Drive to Chau Doc. Visit Sam mountain and Ba Chua Xu. Take panorama view to see the border of Vietnam and Cambodia. Take boat in the afternoon across Mekong river to Cambodia. Meeting at border and transfer to Phnompenh. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 13: Phnompenh (B/L) Breakfast, transfer to visit Tuoi Sleng, Former Khmer Rouge prison camp. Royal palace, the Silver Pagoda and Killing Fields- and Russian Market. Lunch and continue to visit National Museum and Wat Phnom. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 14: Phnom Penh – SiemReap (B) Take boat to Siem Reap. Arrive at afternoon. Check in hotel. Afternoon, visit to the ancient capital of ANGKOR THOM: a fortified Royal City (10 square kilometres) built by King Jayavarman VII, who ruled from 1181 to 1201. The city has five monumental gates and is encircled by a moat 100 meters wide. BAYON: Jayavarman VII's temple mountain that stands at the centre of Angkor Thom. It is one of the most popular of Angkor's monuments and a place of narrow corridors, steep flights of stairs and an amazing collection of towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces. BAPHUON: the pyramid shape represents the mythical Mount Meru and marks the centre of the city that was here before Angkor Thom. PHIMEANAKAS: near the centre of what was once the royal palace within Angkor Thom. Phimeanakas means ‘Celestial Palace’, though toDay there is not much left to indicate its former splendour. Day 15: Angkor Wat (B/L) Breakfast at hotel. Visit to: PRASAT KRAVAN: A brick temple guilt by Hashavarman in the first quarter of the 10th century, small but worth the visit. SRAH SRANG: Srah Srang artificial lake is across from the monastery. It was used for ceremonies and royal baths. BANTEAY KDEI OR THE CITADEL OF THE CELLS: Built in 1181 by the founder of Ta Prom, it is similar to it. It used to be a religious monastery. A small paved terrace leads to the sanctuary’s twin courtyards. In the centre of the courtyards are mysterious square pillars with handles that still torment archaeology students. TA PROHM: Jayavarman VII who dedicated it to his mother built the temple in 1186. It is one of the most fascinating of all the temples. TA KEO: Further east along the victory road you will get to Takeo. Jayavarman V began construction work on the temple, one of the firsts to be built put of sandstone. After lunch visit to NEAK PEAN: The original layout of Neak Poan was supposed to be a symbol of the Universe: the central temple represents Mount Meru surrounded by the four Oceans. PREAH KHAN, meaning ‘Holy Sword’, is one of the largest temple compounds in Angkor and is defended by four concentric walls. The main shrine and its adjoining buildings are richly decorated with Buddhist motifs and scenes from Hindu epics. THOMMANON and CHAU SAY TEVODA are situated in the Little Circuit. Both shrines are built opposite each other around II60. DINNER AND ENJOY KHMER TRADITIONAL DANCE SHOW AT LOCAL RESTAURANT. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 16: Seam Reap Departure (B) After breakfast at hotel, you will take a break from visiting temples and enjoy a boat ride, in a traditional wooden boat, on the TONLE SAP. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a floating village, boats have been converted to look like houses and the village move from place to place following water levels.
